1. What is a CMP?
A CMP (Consent Management Platform) is a tool for collecting and managing your visitors' choices regarding the use of their personal data, in particular advertising cookies. It is generally displayed as soon as visitors arrive on your site, in the form of a banner or pop-up.
2. It's mandatory to comply with the law (RGPD)
Since the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) came into force, it's been mandatory to ask for users' clear and freely given consent before depositing non-essential cookies (such as those linked to advertising or audience tracking).
⚠️ Without CMP, your site is most likely non-compliant, which can result in:
- Fines of up to 4% of annual sales in the event of an inspection by the CNIL or another authority.
- A loss of confidence on the part of Internet users, who are increasingly sensitive to the need to protect their data.
3. It's essential for your advertising revenues (TCF from IAB Europe).
The CMP is not just about compliance. It's also crucial for your advertising revenues, as it enables you to use the TCF (Transparency and Consent Framework), a standard adopted by the entire advertising industry (Google, Meta, etc.).
Without this framework, advertising agencies cannot exploit user data, which drastically reduces the value of advertising impressions.
Clearly, no consent = less revenue.
4. The risks of not having a CMP:
- ⚠️ Legal non-compliance (with the risk of sanctions, as the CNIL carries out many controls).
Loss of advertising revenue.
- ❌ Blocking by partners or browsers (Google requires the use of a certified CMP to display certain ads).
Poor user experience (lack of transparency, lack of trust).
To sum up:
A CMP is mandatory to comply with the law,
Essential for your advertising revenues,
It's a small tool with a huge impact on your legality, credibility and marketing performance.
5. What does OKAST offer?
OKAST has chosen to integrate the French AXEPTIO solution, which offers a high level of functionality and customization.
Our full integration is validated on websites, mobile applications and soon TV applications.
6. How much will it cost me?

* if you have a specific package or contract including mobile or TV applications, please contact us to adjust the price.
Don't take out a subscription on Axeptio's online site, we'll manage it directly for you via your back-office.
7. What if I've already set up a system myself?
To date, many of our customers have opted for third-party CMP solutions, integrated via Google Tag Manager. However, this approach has significant limitations: although a consent banner is displayed on arrival at the site, users' choices are neither reliably tracked, nor really taken into account in their browsing path.
This applies to both cookie management and advertising targeting. What's more, the ability to modify choices at any time - a regulatory requirement - is often not functional.
So just because your additional system offers to deactivate cookies doesn't mean it will be effective, as there is no dialogue with our servers, which will still generate the cookies.
The integration we now offer with Axeptio, on both web and mobile, provides a fully integrated solution.
It guarantees strict respect for user preferences, ensures complete traceability that complies with RGPD requirements, and enables the regulatory transmission of consents required for content monetization. It's a reliable, transparent and compliant approach, serving the confidence of your users and the performance of your digital operations.
⚠️ In the event that you do not wish to activate our integration, but continue to use another solution that you have installed yourself, we are legally obliged to ask you to revalidate our CGU-CGV in order to determine the responsibilities of each party in the event of an inspection by the CNIL or equivalent body in your country.
