In order to improve your users' navigation and direct them to a Theme Page from the home page, we have organized the Platform > Layout menu with Theme Pages in addition to the home page: Pages.
These Pages are accessible to your users in the header of your site's home page or directly via URL.
The benefit for your users.
The implementation of these theme pages simplifies the user journey through your catalog. For example, the layout of your homepage components (Featured, Mosaic, Carousel, etc.) can be reproduced or varied on a theme page.
You can therefore create Theme Pages for each of your themes (documentaries, live events, cinema, etc.) with their own graphic designs, all accessible from the header of the home page.
Based on our experience, we recommend that you define the desired user journey and its entry points in advance.
For example: Do you want to display the same themes in the header with your pages and on your home page with the components?
How to create a thematic page
To create a thematic page, go to the Platform menu > Layout > Add a page (button at the top right).
Your new page can be in French or English, but you must enter the Page Name, which will define its URL. Please note that, as always on OKAST, there cannot be two pages with the same URL.
Once saved, you can add components using the Create a component button and add mobile interfaces, as you would for your home page.
Your theme page therefore follows the same layout as the home page.
Once created and published, you can assign it the role of Homepage using the iconor change its Display order in the header using the menu
, as shown in this example.
In short, a theme page allows you to create new custom pages for a better user experience.
