Set up the Stripe payment page (Checkout) for your users

The Checkout page allows your users to choose a payment method and add a promotional code. Stripe is our payment partner, so you'll need a Stripe account to monetize your content with OKAST.

 

You have not yet associated your Stripe account with the OKAST platform using your Stripe account ID or API Key. Please click here

The payment page as seen by your users

 

The payment page is divided into 2 parts.

 


 

Left side

You will find the offer summary with :

 

  • Your 'OKAST' logo and 'blue' background color.

  • The description which is automatically generated according to the type of offer created, either by subscription with or without a free period, or by rental. In this example: 'Subscribe to Des supers moments'.

  • The amount to be paid or the free period. Here: '€7.50 every 12 months'.

  • The offer title and amount. Here: 'Des supers moments 7,50 €'.

  • Optional description: 'Billed every 12 months'.

  • Subtotal: '7,50 €'.

  • The addition of a promotional code (no codes in this case).

  • The description of the total which is automatically generated according to the type of offer created, by subscription with or without free period or rental. In this case: 'Total due today €7.50'.

 

 

Right-hand side

You'll find your user's payment details with :

 

  • Contact details: email

  • The payment method, which depends on the access you offer: credit card, deferred payment, specific withdrawals, etc.

  • Credit card details
     
  • User name 

  • Region

  • Consent to terms of use (optional)

 

 

Setting up the payment page in Stripe


To change the payment page go to Stripe > Settings > Checkout and Payment Links :

Left side

Let's start on the left-hand side with the background color.

To change your logo, background color and payment button, go to the Appearance tab or directly to the Brand Adaptation link: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/branding

 

Or directly on the page.


 

Still on the left-hand side of the page, with the colored background, if you wish to display links at the bottom of the page, such as: legal information, contact, etc. Go to the Public Information tab on the Checkout and Payment Links page.

 


Or go directly to the page. > https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/public

 

 

On the same page > https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/public, be sure to enter the company's public name, contact e-mail and the 2 bank statement labels. This information will appear in exchanges with your customers.

 

 

Right-hand side

Let's move on to the right-hand side of the page.

You can set up payment methods for your users by going to the Accelerated Payment tab > Payment Method Settings or directly to the link: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods?platform_id=pmc_1KUTonJlEJQRhNFIvM0QQ7jI

 

 

Disregard the Link Settings, which are Stripe's own payment interface.

To finalise activation, you need to configure a domain and then download the file and send it to us by email or ticket.

 

Finally, we would like you to decide whether or not to add information about your internal policies. To do so, go to the Internal Policies tab on the Checkout and Payment Links page > https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/checkout
